Checking the Status Indicator Light

When optional Status Indicator Light MK-744 is mounted, you can check the machine status even if you are away from this machine.

The current status of the machine can be judged depending on how the indicator lights up.

Remedy

Red

Indicates that the machine has stopped due to a problem such as a paper jam, paper or toner replenishment, or scrap disposal.

Check the machine status on the control panel.

For details about how to replenish paper or toner and dispose of scraps, refer to Replenishment and Replacement.

Orange

Indicates that a toner replenishment message is displayed.

Check the machine status on the control panel. For details, refer to Replacing a Toner Bottle.

Green

Indicates that the machine is currently printing.

There is no action.

Blue

Indicates that the machine is ready to print.

There is no action.

No light

The main power switch or sub power switch is turned off. Otherwise, the machine is not ready to print because it is in warm-up mode or the door is still open.

When the status indicator light does not light in states other than those shown on the left, check the message on the control panel.
