Overview of SSL communication

SSL is an encryption protocol that encrypts data transferred on the Internet to prevent third parties’ unauthorized access. This function allows you to encrypt SSL communications between this machine and a computer and ensure security protection when you register a certificate for the machine using Web Connection.

Tips

SSL communications are not available in Enhanced Security mode.
