Enter the recipient's name. The registered name is displayed in the address list.

This item can be specified using up to 24 single-byte characters (12 double-byte characters).

Tips

This item is displayed on a product equipped with a scanner and HDD. For details, refer to What Is the [SCAN]?.

Tips

The name cannot be registered unless [Address] is entered.
To register a new address, set [Address] and [Register Name], and press [Register]. Pressing [Scan Settings] proceeds to the scan condition setting step without registering an address.

		Character keys	Enter characters.
		[Del]	When there is no character at the cursor position, the character directly to the left of the cursor is deleted. If the cursor is on a character, that character is deleted.
		[Shift]	Switches between uppercase and lowercase characters, or numbers and symbols.
		[Space]	Inserts a space.
Remarks		If the display language on the Touch panel is switched, the displayed keys may be changed.
