About Perfect Bind

You can adjust various positions and misalignments for perfect binding by specifying the desired values. The following adjustable settings are introduced in this section.

Cover Paper Lead Edge

Adjust the lead edge position of left cover page determined with reference to the body set.

Spine Corner Forming Position

Adjust the cover paper so that the spine is flat.

Sub Compile CD Width

Adjust misalignment or distortion in the crosswise direction of the body if detected.

Clamp CD Width

Adjust misalignment or distortion in the crosswise direction of the body if detected.

Cover Up/Down CD Width

Adjust misalignment between the body sets and the cover paper in the crosswise direction if detected.

Clamp FD Position Adjustment

Adjust misalignment or distortion in the paper feed direction of the body if detected.
