Creating a New Box

You can create an HDD job Box.

This procedure differs between a case in which the folder is password protected and that in which the folder is not password protected.

1. Select a folder.

   If the folder is password-protected, click . The Unlock screen is displayed.

2. Enter the Password, and click OK.

   If the entered password matches the registered password, the lock is released.

3. Click Create Box in Job Management.

   • supplementary explanationYou can also select Create Box from the right-click menu to create a new Box.

   The Create a New Box screen is displayed.

4. Enter Name and Password.

   Name can be specified using up to 20 one-byte or two-byte characters. The Password can be specified using up to 8 one-byte characters.

   If the password is omitted, a Box without password authentication is created.

5. Click OK.
