Enable Scan to SMB, and configure settings related to the authentication method.
Follow the procedure described in Using the Control Panel for Setting to display the NIC Settings screen.
Press SMB Settings.
Press Client Settings.
Press ON.
To set SMB authentication, select an authentication method from SMB Authentication Setting. If NTLM v1/v2 has been selected, NTLMv1 authentication is performed when NTLMv2 authentication fails.
To set SMB Authentication Setting to Kerberos and specify the processing after a failure of authentication, select a setting from Authentication Setting if Kerberos Fails.
To use NTLM in user authentication, press Forward, and select ON from User Authentication (NTLM).
If Distributed File System (DFS) is used, select ON from DFS Setting.
Press OK to complete the setting.
