Basic Scan Operation

Follow the procedure below to make a basic scan.

preconditionThe following describes the basic procedure. It is not always applicable to the operations of set scan conditions. When using a specific function, be sure to follow the procedure described in each section.

Press the SCAN tab to display the SCAN screen, and select the desired scan function.
Specify the destination to send scanned data to, and press Scan Settings.
Set the scan conditions.
Position the original.
Press Start on the control panel.
Scanning starts, and scanned data is sent to the destination.
