Encryption

You can assign a password to the scan data saved in PDF format.

This option is available when PDF + Package or PDF + Divided is selected in File Type. Press the Encryption button, and enter the password.

Tips

When creating a single file for all the original pages, select Package. When creating a single file for each page, select Divided.
Encryption is not available for PDF/A-based PDF, TIFF, XPS, and JPEG.
