Network Tab: IPP Setting

Click IPP Setting on the menu of Network tab to display this screen.

This screen allows you to make IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) settings.

1. To use IPP setting, select ON from each drop-down list of the IPP Setting and Accept IPP job.

2. To configure the SSL communication setting, select a setting from the SSL Setting. This screen is displayed when the certificate is installed on the machine.

3. If necessary, specify Printer Name, Printer Location, and Printer Information. You can enter up to 127 one-byte characters for each item.

4. The printer URI is displayed that enables to print data using IPP.

5. If necessary, specify whether to use IPP for permission in Support Operation.

6. To use IPP authentication, select the IPP Authentication Setting checkbox.

7. Specify the IPP authentication method.

8. Specify User Name, Password, and realm according to the authentication method.

9. Click OK. Clicking Cancel cancels the setting.

10. Click OK on the setting complete screen.
