Access to Web Utilities

Overview of DPWS

Configure the print or scan setting using the Web service (DPWS: Devices Profile for Web Services).

Using the Web service function of Windows computer ^*1, you can automatically detect this machine connected to the network, and easily install it as a Web service printer or Web service scanner.

Item	Description
DPWS Common Settings	This screen allows you to configure settings to detect the machine via the Web service. For details about the setting, refer to DPWS Common Settings.
DPWS Extension Settings	This screen allows you to configure settings to print or scan data via the Web service using the discovery proxy defined in WS-Discovery when multi-cast communications are limited. For details about the setting, refer to DPWS Extension Settings.
Printer Settings	This screen allows you to configure settings to print data via the Web service. For details about the setting, refer to Printer Settings.
Scanner Settings	This screen allows you to configure settings to scan data via the Web service. For details about the setting, refer to Scanner Settings.
